Puppetry

We offer puppetry sessions full of making and playing.

 

Funsense uses a lot of puppets. 

We make a lot of our own and use a mixture of styles including shadow and hand puppets.  

 

Why puppets?

Our puppets bring something really magical to our sessions.  We use puppets to encourage interaction and help with the development of speech and language skills, team working skills and co-ordination and because they are a lot of fun!

 

 

We have three puppet sessions available mixing making and playing:

 

-Making and playing with shadow puppets
-Making and playing with hand puppets

-An introduction to puppetry

 

 

We can also make puppets to order. Jay, a big blue bird hand puppet was made for St Martin's Infants School, but he does come out with us occasionally on Funsense sessions.
